Of our three smoothie flavors, the Super Smoothie Clementine is a bit unique with its complementary flavors and the highest amount of protein of all our smoothies with 27 grams.

Clementine Smoothie - The Details

It is the perfect quick breakfast drink.

Taste

The ginger fanatics at SmoothieBox are obsessed with this smoothie.

It has a ginger zip that is both tangy and refreshing. 

SmoothieBox members have described this smoothie as “a ginger-tinged orange creamsicle,” “a bit of tanginess with the sweet potato flavor,” and “refreshingly citrus.”

Ingredients

The Super Smoothie Clementine features

  • mandarin
  • organic sweet potato
  • organic carrots
  • organic ginger
  • organic coconut cream
  • organic lemon juice
  • organic pumpkin seeds
  • organic coconut water
  • organic dates
  • grass-fed collagen protein

Since ancient times, ginger has been used in food for its flavor and ability to fight some illnesses.

Research indicates that ginger may be used as a remedy for nausea.[1][2] The carrots and sweet potatoes included in this smoothie are also a great source of Vitamin A.

Blend It

Open the smoothie packet and add to a blender and then add the entire collagen packet. 

Add your blending liquid of choice and then blend for about a minute or more.

Because of the pumpkin seeds, you’ll want to give this smoothie a little extra time to blend to get it smooth.

For the Super Smoothie Clementine, some of the best blending liquids include various milks (almond, whole, coconut, or cashew) or water.

Some of our favorite foods and supplements to add to this smoothie for extra flavor or more nutrients include maca powder, lion’s mane mushroom powder, ashwagandha, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and cinnamon.

    The taste of ginger is strong, which I like, but I can see why some might prefer it to taste less gingery.

    I've added blueberries and strawberries and it is delicious with those added.
